People and situations are unpredictable. Those 4 guys were looking for a fight. They wanted to start a brawl. Although, most people would have diffused the situation right away by giving in and moving on. Some people have large egos that they can't control and need to smash faces to show how tough and prideful they are. Once someone takes the first punch its survival mode.
